Terms and conditions of promotion

To be eligible:

  1. Go to any Coles supermarket, Bi-Lo and Coles Online between 6 December 2013 and 19 December 2013 (“Promotional Period”), and purchase any two items from the list of participating products to be eligible for one movie voucher. Coles Online purchases must be purchased and delivered during the Promotional Period.
  2. You must purchase either two of the same items or two different items from the list of participating products to be eligible for one movie voucher. You may be eligible for up to four movie vouchers per transaction.
  3. Confirmation of the number of movie vouchers you are eligible for, and the web address to go to validate your entry, will be printed on your receipt.

To Register for your movie voucher from Coles

  1. Go online to moviedeal.coles.com.au (“Website”), open a Coles Account and register your details before 3 January 2014. You will be asked to validate your eligibility for your movie vouchers using information from your receipt. You are not eligible for a movie voucher until you complete registration.
  2. After you have registered, Edge Loyalty Systems Pty Ltd, on behalf of Coles, will email you a web link, activation code and instructions on how to access your movie voucher. The activation code must be used by 10 January 2014. The movie voucher can be used to claim your tickets directly from Participating Cinemas including selected Village, Greater Union, Birch Carroll & Coyle, Event, Hoyts, Dendy, Palace and independent cinemas. To Redeem your movie voucher for a movie ticket from Participating Cinemas

  1. To claim your ticket(s) from Participating Cinemas you will need to follow the instructions accompanying the voucher and contact the Participating Cinema directly, either via their website or visit in person. Fees and charges relating to booking may be applied by the Participating Cinema.
  2. Each voucher may be redeemed for a ticket for one adult or child to see a general admission screening of the movie of their choice at any available session (including those designated as No Free Ticket sessions) with Participating Cinemas between 7 December 2013 and 31 March 2014 (Redemption Period). Vouchers may not be redeemed for tickets to premium offerings (e,g Village Cinemas or Event Gold Class or Hoyts La Premiere or Director’s Suite) alternative content, special events or used in conjunction with any other offer or promotion, including reduced price movie tickets or other free tickets offers. Surcharges for VMAX, IMAX, extreme screen, 3D/Real D and 3D glasses will be payable by you, if applicable.
  3. The voucher is single use only and may only be used by the person whose name appears on the voucher. Vouchers are void if re-sold. No reproductions of the vouchers will be accepted. They are subject to the terms and conditions printed on the voucher and any terms and conditions of the Participating Cinemas.
  4. Vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged or replaced, and the Redemption Period will not be extended. Change will not be given irrespective of cinema pricing.
  5. Coles and its associated entities and Edge Loyalty Systems Pty Ltd are not liable to you for (a) any voucher that is lost, stolen, altered, damaged, or tampered with (b) any tax or other loss or liability incurred by you as a result of participating in this promotion nor (c) any claim you may have arising out of or in connection with use or otherwise of the movie tickets.
  6. Nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any person’s rights under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010.

By completing registration you consent to our privacy statement on coles.com.au/privacy and you agree that Coles can provide your personal details to Edge Loyalty Systems Pty Ltd to facilitate sending your activation code and voucher to you. You also agree that Coles or its nominee can send you emails regarding other offers, promotions or goods and services from Coles and its related bodies corporate, and flybuys which might be of interest to you.
